Cucumber Mint Yogurt soup

Right before the beach season we need more clean and healthy recipes.Low in calories and full of hydrating cucumbers, this cooling yogurt cucumber mint soup supports healthy digestion and helps you beat bloat.

INGREDIENTS

SERVINGS 2-4
1 cup plain yogurt
2 medium cucumbers, peeled and diced very small
1/2 cloves garlic, diced very small

4 leaves  fresh mint
2 -4 drops of  extra virgin olive oil

DIRECTIONS

Place yoghurt in a large bowl.
Add all other ingredients, except water, and mix thoroughly.
Add water until required consistency is achieved.

Add 2-4 drops of extra virgin olive oil
Chill in refrigerator for about two hours before serving.

It’s About Time “ I don’t have enough time.” These words are countless conversations today in many aspects of daily life.For not going to the gym, not going for a run , not going for walk,not spending quality time with your loved ones, for not finishing tasks,e.t.c.Right Time management can help with your daily responsibilities. An agenda showing daily activities,using your calender in paper or in your phone, planning is number one important tip to manage our time.Make the list of the items that you need to do daily basis, weekly basis. Schedule a definite time to check your emails,and try to response them in order. Value your time and other people will do the same.If you are using social media for business,schedule some of your updates.Notice how you use your time for weekdays and weekends for couple weeks. What drains your time? What drains your energy?Limit those things. In the day take mini breaks.Weekends take longer breaks.

Don’t forget we all need down time .

Tips for a Stress-free Preparation for Thanksgiving dinner

Make this Thanksgiving an easy yet memorable occasion.

If you have a frozen turkey, clear a space in your fridge and put the bird in now to defrost.
Clean the house, if you’re having a lot of guests, you may want to set up the table(s) and make sure you have enough space and chairs.

Make a plan, this is the number one thing that makes you save time and feel more comfortable .

Make a shopping list, when you go to shopping keep your list in your hand and make sure you are not hungry, that makes you only buy the stuff you need .

Plan to have a few items that are more difficult and take more time and a few items that are quick and easy. Prepare some items ahead.

Make sure to keep the food in the right temperature and right container.Illness-causing bacteria can grow in perishable foods within two hours unless you refrigerate them. Refrigerate perishable foods within 2 hours or within 1 hour if the temperature is over 90˚F. Marinating meat or seafood on the counter is not right,harmful germs in meat or seafood can multiply extremely rapidly at room temperature.Always marinate meat or seafood in the refrigerator.Cooked food is safe only after it’s been cooked to a high enough temperature to kill harmful bacteria.

In all those preparation,make time for exercise. Rest. Read a book ,a newspaper,check your e-mails. Make yoga .Drink a cup of relaxing tea.

 

 

 

Walking is good as Running

Walking may seem easy form of exercise ,but it really is one of the best things you can do to your body ,your beauty and your long-term health.You improve your cardiovascular  strength,strengthening your muscles .

Running is another great exercise ,as long as your joints are aligned and you protect them with great shoes and strong muscles  .

Especially if you are just starting out and have never run before ,walking is great low impact way to get into fitness.

Don’t forget to see the beauty of the life either you run or walk ,deep inhale and exhale .
